The best pizzas I have eaten in our 8 day vacation trip! It started to rain and the staff asked us friendly if we want to switch tables to one inside but we were good outside. Only a little mistake was made because we only got one pizza and ordered two but the mistake was fixed in just 5 minutes when we asked for the second pizza. Also the Hugo cocktails here were one of the best we got! We loved this place!
Recommended by my hotel, this really cute eatery, tucked away from all the main hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare is really worth a visit! The vibe is chilled and for once the music is complimentary to the setting. The menu is uncomplicated and offers a host of options both in terms of food and beverages! Great choices for vegetarians too! The pizza is thin based and very tasty 10/10.
The service is simple no frills or fuss but attentive and welcoming! I would definitely recommend!!! Bravo
I had the most amazing time at Filo d’Olio for a private cooking class with my wife and kids. This is a family business, in fact we were welcomed by the mother of the owner, Angela, who was simply incredible. We have two young children, and she made sure that not only the felt included, but that they actually learned how to make orecchiette pasta and panzerotti. The place itself is a gem, so beautiful and stylish yet true to the local tradition, materials and colors. You do feel transported in time.
After our class, Angela cooked our panzerotti and orecchiette and treated us to wine and coffee.
I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting, and I can’t wait to come back for dinner soon!
We really enjoyed eating in FILO D’OLIO. Great atmosphere and wonderful design. Food was excellent!
The typical architecture is beautiful and allows you to enjoy in the surrounding of rock arches.
Enjoy the meal!
Ambiente is great, food is good quality but therefore a bit pricey. Portions are the right size, neither too small or too large. They have some interesting items on the menu, not only the typical touristy food, and all were very delicious. Service is a bit slow, not too attentive. We left without eating a desert because we had to wait so long for the waiter to come to us we got annoyed.
The food is really good with great choice of dishes. Staff is very kind and well speaking english. Prices are bit higher than average but definitely worth to try it as pastas are delicious.
Lovely food with a nice outdoor terrace. Slightly off the main tourist strip, so a better experience.
We had dinner, which we voted as our best food experience in Monopoli. Friendly staff, and delicious dishes. For main course we had the octopus stew which was lovely and tender.
Very quick service, kind, terrasse seems to be appreciated by the locals. Starters were a little bit sad, small portion and expensive for what we received. Pizzas on the other hand were really well dressed, beautiful and delicious. Overall a nice evening
